What is "Blue"?

Blue is the Al Futtaim Retail Group’s rewards programme.
Blue enables you to shop across our various brands in the GCC, Egypt, Singapore & Malaysia, rewarding your shopping experience by adding unlimited cashback & opening up 1000s of 2 for 1 offers.

How can I get access to Blue?

You can download the Blue App from the Google Play store or the Apple App Store and create an account by registering with the following information:
• first name(s);
• last name;
• email address;
• mobile number;
• country of residence;
• date of birth;
• gender; and
• nationality.

What are the benefits of having this app?

Apart from making savings on some of the best retail stores you will also be rewarded with the following:

I forgot my password. How can I sign into the Blue App?

If you forgot your password, simply click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the Blue App. You will then receive a One Time Password (OTP) to your registered mobile number on your Blue Account. Enter the OTP in the app and change your password instantly!

What is my username for the app?

Your username is your mobile number that you used when you registered with Blue.

Do I need an internet connection to use/ access Blue Mobile App?

Yes, you require internet connection.

Can I use a non GCC/Egypt mobile number to register to Blue?

You need a mobile number from the GCC, Egypt, Singapore or Malaysia to register. The mobile number used for registration needs to be able to receive the one-time password (OTP) validation code to register with Blue.

Can I share my account with other family members?

For sure you can, you can share your e-mail ID and password with them and they can share your account. *Restricted to two devices.
But why not have them download the app and register their own account so they can then have their own access and offers?

Which languages can I use my Blue App In?

Blue is available in English & Arabic.

Can I use my membership/account for corporate purchases?

The membership to the program is not a corporate membership. Corporate B2B customers are excluded.

Blue Wallet – FAQs

How can I check my ‘Wallet’ balance?

You can do this in your Blue App, in the "Home Page & Wallet Section” link.

Is there an expiry date on my ‘Wallet Balance’?

Yes, as mentioned in your ‘Wallet Expiry’ section within the App link.
*Cashback has to be redeemed within 12 months of date of purchase.
*Gift Card (Blue Prepaid) has to be redeemed within 12 months of date of purchase.
*Refunds to be redeemed within 12 months of date of return.

Can I spend my available ‘Wallet Balance’ outside of the registered country?

Wallet Balance is only available for redemption currently in the registered country

• Download the Blue App & register your details in order to start earning
• Start spending at participating brands in store
• Notify the cashier that you have the Blue App & the amount you want to redeem
• The cashier will scan your Blue App barcode during checkout
• Press Redeem Button on app & receive your OTP
• Share the OTP with cashier – the amount will be redeemed from your wallet balance

How do I redeem my Wallet Balance on-line?

• Download the Blue App & register your details in order to start earning
• Start spending at participating brands online brands: Link
• At checkout – select the Blue wallet option & amount you want to redeem
• Enter your Blue app registered mobile number & you will receive an SMS OTP for verification
• Please enter the OTP & proceed to complete purchase

What happens if I want to return an item purchased using Wallet Balance?

The amount will be retuned in the ‘Wallet’ under refunds section.

What happens if I return an item purchased online?

You will be refunded your amount in the mode of payment you used for the transaction

Blue Cashback – FAQs

How do I earn/collect cashback?

Start earning cashback as soon as you start spending at any participating brands Link listed on the Blue App (in-store and online) as follows:
• Spend any amount (in the relevant local currency) to earn 1% cashback (i.e. spend 100 AED earn 1 AED cashback or equivalent currency).
• Cashback earned at select participating brands may take up to 72 hours to reflect in your account
• Cashback will be part of your overall Blue Wallet
• Cashback is valid from 12 months from date of purchase.
*(IKEA & Marks & Spencer online purchases are exempt from collecting cashback)

Steps to earn/collect Blue cashback in-store

• Download the Blue App & register your details in order to start earning
• Start spending at participating brands in store
• Notify the cashier that you have the Blue App
• The cashier will scan your Blue App barcode during checkout

Steps to earn/collect Blue cashback online

• Download the Blue App & register your details
• Start Spending at Al-Futtaim Retail Group participating brands online Table C below (brands participating online include: ACE, Toys R Us, & Kiabi).
• During checkout online your cashback amount will be automatically updated in your balance in the Blue App
*Please ensure the same mobile number is entered online as you have registered in the Blue App

How long are Blue exclusive brand offers valid for?

Blue exclusive offers depend on the individual brands. You can find the offer duration details within the offer itself.

How many times can I use a Blue exclusive brand offer?

Depending on offer terms & conditions, you can use each offer an unlimited amount of times or just once, but only one offer is available per transaction.

Where can I use the Blue exclusive offers in my app?

Your Blue exclusive brand offers are valid in participating Al-Futtaim Retail Group brand locations across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar , Egypt, Malaysia & Singapore only.

2 for 1 Offers – FAQs

How do I unlock 2 for 1 Offers?

Shop in two or more Al-Futtaim Retail Group participating brands Link. to unlock 1000’s of offers (the range of merchant offers available in your Blue loyalty programme will vary depending on the region and the number of Al-Futtaim Retail Group participating brands shopped at).
The more participating brands you shop at the more 2 for 1 offers that will be available to you!

How does the 2 for 1 offer work?

Your 2 for 1 offers are really easy to us, See ‘Rules of Use’ for more information on how to use these offers.

How do I redeem a 2 for 1 offer?

1. When requesting your bill notify the merchant that you intend to redeem a 2 for 1 offer
2. Tap on the offer you wish to redeem within the Blue App
3. Ask the merchant to enter their PIN
You’ll then get a success screen showing your estimated savings amount, which you can share to Facebook or Twitter for bragging rights and kudos.

How do I retrieve the redemption code for a redeemed 2 for 1 offer?

If you need to retrieve the redemption code to give to the merchant, please follow the below steps:
1. Select a category such as Food & Drink
2. Select the three dots at the bottom of the screen
3. Select “Redemption History” from the menu list
4. Click on the offer you wish to take the number from

I have redeemed a 2 for 1 offer at one location, but the offer is showing as redeemed at all locations on my App.

There are three offers per merchant. When you redeem an offer, it will show as redeemed in all merchant locations. Once you have redeemed all three offers, all locations will be locked.

Do I have access to the Rules of Use via my App?

Yes, you can easily access the Rules of Use from each Offer in your app and via the profile settings in your app.

If I go to a participating outlet and hit redeem on an offer, but find that they do not accept the offer for some reason, can I cancel the redemption?

You can cancel the redemption at any point until the teller successfully enters their merchant PIN. However, if the teller has entered their merchant PIN and the redemption is complete, it cannot be reversed. We are unable to reinstate mobile offers within the Blue App.

How does the App work when using a Beauty & Fitness offer? For example, when I go to a spa alone, how can I use my next offer?

After the standard redemption steps, the spa will provide you with a certificate/voucher for you to present the next time you visit the outlet.
The certificate/voucher will contain the exact details of your next complimentary treatment or service. You may use the certificate/voucher for:
• Another complimentary treatment for yourself during your current visit or to extend your treatment.
• A complimentary treatment for a family member or friend to use during your visit.
• A complimentary treatment or service at a later date but before the expiration date of your product.
*These offers fall into the following categories: Spas, Medical & Wellness, Dental Clinics, Beauty, Hair & Nails, Gents Grooming, Health & Fitness.

What are the restrictions on the offers?

Your unlocked offers have very few redemption restrictions and are valid throughout the year, excluding some key public holidays. See ‘Rules of Use’ for more information on the days your offers will not be valid.

How many offers are there for each unlocked merchant?

Each merchant contains three offers shown as either a percentage off or buy-one-get-one-free offer. When you redeem an offer, it will show as redeemed in all merchant locations. Once you have redeemed all three offers, all locations will be locked.

How many offers can I use at one time?

A maximum of 4 offers can be used at once. You can use 1 offer per 2 people and a maximum of 4 offers per 8 guests.
